Today im feeding my vocabulary with new word… drum roll please…
Hypocritographer
Pronunciation: hipukrit’tugrafr
Definition: 1. [n] a person who takes photograph professionally and non- professionally, who profess that his or her images were Photoshop® free, on the justification that.. “i just move that slider further right to correct my exposure, color, etc.
2. [n] person with hypocrisy over non usage of pixel bending machine, and claiming photographic workmanship.
Hypocritographic
Pronunciation: hipukrit’tugraf’ik
Definition: 1. [adj] representing group of person with an appalling hypocrisy over abhorrence of that pixel bending magic of Adobe ® Machines et al.
I have encountered them some many times. What you’ll hear from them is plain justification why they have used such Pixel bending tool, and they turn to it as a last resort. Okay that’s fine But when i look at their images.. Wow its pretty much like an Adobe Website, i thought i was redirected to the Adobe user groups gallery.
By the way all of them are RAW shooters..

The darkhorse was indeed White. Brawn GP won this seasons opening race. Look at the car its white, vast empty untainted carbon fiber car body. WOW i like it like that.

"look Ma' no paint"
Im pretty sure my dream of seeing a Zero-sponsor car as well as the drivers suit wont happen i know, and pretty sure the next races from Sepang to Brazil the drag for the Brawn GP team will be too much… too many ensigna to carry on drivers suit, too much paint to the cars body… this is hyperbole. but can Brawn GP up for that podium dream?

The first F1 night race and it should also be my 1st live F1 experience… too bad im going back to the Philippines. hmm… pre F1 preparations had cost me a late office time-in coz of traffic jam, especially along Beach road. Last tuesday was a terrible traffic, lots and lots of trailer trucks with big crates in tow. wow that must be the F1 cars, too bad again nobody can do a carnap ala “Italian Job” due to traffic jams.
any way this friday im still in Singapore. Walkabout tickets anyone?? im selling for S$250..thats the scalpers price..hahahaha.. im just kidding — ive read somewhere its non transferable?? hmm… but even without the walkabout tix. i can have a great view of the F1 race.. can you see that intersection where two turning points almost meet? the espalnade, padang, war memorial turn… i have a fantastic view of that on our office conference room. great right… and since its a last friday of the month.. wine and beer should be everywhere as the engines starts to roar for practice…
perfect!!!

F1 ticket anyone?? darn!! my first F1and i cant be here… but i think i will enjoy it better on TV. with friends..

Ive always wanted to shoot a model on a high ISO with projectors as lighting… its a handicap and it is also challenging.. this idea pops when i was watching the ever funny “Chasers” and my sis bocked the projector when she stands up. the TV show images was cast onto my sis face and its quite cool.
i revisit the idea again.. somehow..

a mimic projection…

Still recovering from a one day community service at Batam Indonesia. i was totally flat out last friday night and when i wake up the next day body aches are everywhere. It was our company’s Community Service initiative for this year, We volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity helping the Habitat recipient building their own home.
I almost didnt make it coz i wake up late Friday morning. I have set my alarm clock at 5:30 and it triggered yes i was awaken by the alarm but…. i try to sleep a bit more coz the morning breeze was so tempting, it was rainy early morning. and you know what happened next.
THE AMAZING RACE!! yeah. i was like f**k this train is so slow!!, there are too many train stops!! and then i was running and talking to my colleague Arthur panting, asking where is the ferry terminal.. asking every people i see where is that ferry terminal. and there was Arthur on the other line telling me to show up now or they are leaving me behind. he was about the leave the Boarding pass tickets and all at the counter and just go.
That was really nasty. adrenaline rush and all. god thing i did make it to get that trip.

Batam looks like a typical Philippine province. or maybe some city outskirts like.. Cavite, Laguna, there are some eighborhood outpost on every junction, “Tambayan sa Kanto” where men gathered the chat, and fret time, rough roads, motrocycles everywhere… and alot more parallelism.
ill be back with my post on that Batam Build Day itself hopefully with all the pictures in…
